SEALBOX® - Heat-sealed gusseted bags extend the product range With the start of operations of a new production plant at our Neuwied site, the product range of REUTHER VERPACKUNG will be extended as of June this year. With this targeted investment, the company is living up to its reputation of being an expert for pre-fabricated packaging solutions. The decades of experience in the process of filling of diverse goods in premade bags simplified the step to investment in an additional bag machine. The new machine from Bäumer & Bäumer, type SFB 8 E, operates in two webs and with its possible format range covers filling volumes from 100 g to 10 kg or even more.As a result, a very wide range of applications is possible. This was also confirmed by Oswald Watterrott, project manager for this new machine at REUTHER VERPACKUNG. The target for the newly created capacities are seen primarily in the petfood industry. In principle, the bags produced, however, are also of interest for many other branches in the food industry or other sectors. Wherever, high-quality, pre-fabricated bags are used for packaging, with this machine we can offer an interesting solution. Two and multi-layer laminates as a combination of plastics, aluminium and paper can be processed. Thus, ideal product protection can be individually achieved and shelf-life for the filled goods is optimized. In addition, the production of special versions is possible – e.g. with zipper (re-closeable), bottom flap for a better stand and side edge sealing to improve stability and thus a more effective display surface. High product protection, brilliant product presentation on the shelf and the 100% printability and thus use of the entire surface, are arguments for this packaging.
